Advance for older cats who have problems with urinary tract.

Older cats usually have problems with their health and they need different food than before. Advance has developed food to help urinary tract infections. This formula decreases struvite ion supersaturats, bioflavonoids and it helps to keep in balance vitamins E and C. Also cellular damage is reduced together with proteins that helps to reduce the ammonium from urine.

Not recommended for pregnant females, kittens or cats with a history of calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

Description Advance Urinary Feline

Advance Veterinary Diets Urinary is a dietetic complete dry kibble for cats with diseases of the lower urinary tract, or struvite stones. This food is also suitable for use to prevent struvite stone formation. Ingredients that make the urine more acidic, plus a low magnesium content both help to treat feline urinary syndrome as well as lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD/FUS) and can help to dissolve struvite stones. The food’s optimal concentration of sodium chloride and potassium chloride increases urinary production and also helps to protect the bladder mucous membrane, whilst phytates and citrates help to prevent the formation of crystals in urinary passages.
